Grown & Gathered Designs is a botanical and floral design practice based in Truckee, California. Inspired by the forests, meadows, and changing seasons of the Sierra Nevada, the work explores the beauty of natural forms through fresh flowers, living plants, and preserved botanical materials.
Each piece is thoughtfully arranged by hand, allowing the materials to guide the final composition. Fresh floral arrangements are created to order using the most beautiful flowers available locally, while botanical pieces are made with carefully gathered and preserved natural materials. Across both, the focus is on organic structure, natural texture, and the quiet beauty found in the landscapes of the Sierra Nevada.
Created by Ashlen, whose work is rooted in time spent wandering the Sierra Nevada forests with her dog, gathering materials and observing the subtle details of our natural environment.
